the middle axl heck in real life The Middle-Sue Heck–I love her! Eden Sher as Sue Heck in the TV series The Middle. Posts about Sue Heck on Kim on a Limb When watching the middle with my rents we all end up giving one another knowing glances of the things happening in her life.
Television Critic May 22, 4: Like the Hecks themselves, “The Middle,” the ABC sitcom that contains them, has kept chugging along, doing its less-than-glamorous, seemingly old-fashioned thing for a reliable 6 million to 8 million viewers a week, year after year. That is not to say it hasn’t had its credentialed critical boosters, as well, or that it isn’t just a little bit radical, in its way.
But it has never exactly been a trending topic. I watch TV professionally, but also recreationally, as time permits — and time does not permit much recreational TV watching. When it comes to the pleasure television, it is not so much the shows you pick as the ones that pick you, the places you return to week after week because they have in some sense got your number; they reliably improve your night, they are good company.
I reviewed “The Middle,” when it premiered in , and went on to watch possibly every episode thereafter, even though, professionally speaking, I didn’t have to. I am a “The Middle” person. The series had in fact been in development since Indeed, this is not, and was not then, a milieu favored by the producers of television comedy, who as a rule prefer shows about well-off people in nice houses.

Not only does it have a solid plot and was well-written but the characters seem to make the story. I don’t want to give too much away, though I will say that through the book you witness not only the character development of one of the main characters which I find it common for romance stories but for both AND for secondary characters as well. Reviewed by Angie on Jun 29, I’ll have to say the book wasn’t for me.
While talking with Devin Levin, Sue lets it slip that her brother Axl (Charlie McDermott) loves Devin. That news will likely have an effect on Devin and Axl’s relationship.
They’re also hilarious, but that came as no surprise. I spoke to Charlie and Eden about how their characters have matured, what it’s like to play a Heck, and what they’re going to be for Halloween. Both of you made some pretty epic speeches in “The Quarry” episode last week—Sue tried to save cross-country and Axl explained why he got suspended from school. Do you enjoy monologues or do you prefer dialogues with other characters?
Definitely more work, more memorization. Yeah, I think it all depends on the scene and the monologue. I had that memorized a couple of days before we did the scene. That was just a lot of fun, because I never had to think about it that much.

Not in a negative way at all but he is a little bit quirky. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill twelve year old! Who is least like their character? Probably me or Patty. Which cast member is known for spending most of his time off-camera snacking at Craft services? I feel like we have some sort of cast telepathy too.
My yellow cross-country sweatshirt on that sweltering soundstage is absolutely my favorite thing to wear. Eden loves that sweatshirt, she never stops talking about how much she loves that sweatshirt.
