Yes and No depends what you want? This now my 5th and most expensive antenna. I seriously thought about buying it but really wanted a trouble free antenna that I wouldn’t have to play with to get into just the right position to pull in Fox. This is not the antenna for that. I’ve tried maneuvering it all around my apartment and still haven’t been able to pull in fox. At least with my smaller and cheaper antenna after 10 to 15 minutes I’d find a place where it would get Fox and not get hardly anything else. I’d have to play with it for awhile before a game then reposition it after the game.

Antennas Home-made antennas can greatly improve the performance of AM and FM radios, short-wave receivers, and scanners. If you are a talk-radio fan then experiment with the AM band antennas and you will be able to hear shows from all over the country with surprising clarity. Short-wave receivers are always coping with weak signals and they must have a good antenna to perform adequately.

Hooking up an indoor antenna like the Mohu Leaf to your TV is pretty easy if you have a relatively modern TV (built in or later). Simply screw the antenna’s coax cable into the “ANTENNA/CABLE” plug on the back of your TV, as shown here.

Published on Monday, 25 March All well and good, except that streaming video services are very much dependent on available bandwidth. Watching Modern Family or The Avengers at 2 PM when Internet traffic is light is a completely different experience at 10 PM, when it seems that everyone and their brother is hogging bandwidth. The fact is; indoor TV reception has actually gotten easier and better. Yes, I remember the early days of digital TV reception, which involved more luck and prayer than anything else.

All you need is a TV antenna that meets the following criteria:

I didn’t think it had one, but the manual wasn’t very clear about it. I don’t have cable run to my house so I was looking to try and get some channels through the antenna. Do you have any suggestions about what kind of antenna or digital converter to use? Thanks for your help, I’ve been looking around different threads online and I was getting conflicting information about whether or not this TV had a digital tuner. My advice on a converter is buy what you can afford.

Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: After trying several so called omnidirectional antennas we purchased this antenna after reading reviews. The antenna is outstanding. It pulls in strong signals from all the closest towers and we even get some channels from areas beyond miles. Keep in mind digital signals are effected by severe weather much like the small satellite dishes so during bad weather we loose the furthermost signals and some of the closest ones come and go during the worst weather.

We have been through several mid-west severe thunderstorms since I installed this antenna and everything still works like it did out of the box. Just an added note the antenna arrived too late to install out side the first night so I sat it on a table in our front window and got better reception with it there than we were getting with our other antenna mounted 50 feet high outside. This is truly a great antenna and I would strongly recommend it especially for anyone living in extreme fringe areas.

My only suggestion to the company is to include a direction indicator on the on the remote control and have directional buttons instead of double clicking to reverse direction.

Do I Need a Separate Antenna For Each TV?

You are transforming the 4-conductor telephone cable into a loop with 4 turns of wire. My home-made circuit continuity tester has both a beeper and a light that come on when the circuit is closed. Twist the two long wires together so that they have approximately 2 turns per inch.

For booting and core functions. Up to 16 MiB of external flash are memory-mapped onto the CPU code space, supporting 8-bit, bit and bit access. Code execution is supported. Data-read is supported on the flash and SRAM. Data-write is supported on the SRAM. ESP32 chips with embedded flash do not support the address mapping between external flash and peripherals.

In this context, “RTC” is a bit of an “Espressifism” because it’s used as shorthand for the low-power and analog subsystem which is separate from the CPU and the main “digital” peripherals “digital” is another Espressifism. There is some real time clock functionality as part of the RTC subsystem, but there’s also a lot of other stuff. Alternatively, real-time chat via IRC is a great way to converse with others, learn new things, and sometimes get answers to questions on the spot. But, having said that, the main drawback to online chat is that not everyone is active or looking at the channel chat room at the same moment — people work at different hours and live in different parts of the world — so timing can be hit-or-miss.

So, if you ask a question in the IRC channel, try to stick around, as it might take someone awhile to respond. For long term usage, it’s recommended to download a full fledged IRC client.

They are quite rare and very hard to find in such pristine condition. It still has the original patina, dark brown and copper just like the factory produced them. So many of these radios have had the patina polished away, missing the reins or the saddle. Blake has replaced all of the paper capacitors, tested and replaced bad resistors and checked all of the tubes. He performed a proper alignment, making this little five-tube, AM only radio play like new.

Connecting an indoor antenna to a TV lets you pick up terrestrial broadcasts without the hassle of mounting an external antenna on the roof or to the side of a building, then running cables indoors.

Ask Question Step 4: Cutting the Paper Clips and Fixing Them You have to trim the paper clips with a nibbler or plier to fit the vertical bars “elements”. This is fairly straight forward. Lay the paper clip on the template’s element and mark the ends with a marker. Snip at the marking. Make sure that each element fits correctly the length of the bar on the diagram. Fix the elements in place with crazy glue. Leave element 2 for later. This is the element that connects to the electronics and is called “the driven element” as in being driven by electronics.
